In a surprising but very welcome move, all three seasons of
Preston Fron have been released on DVD by BBC/2 Entertain
during 2006. Unfortunately, the releases feature no extras and have been
cut in places "contractual reasons". However, it is excellent to have
the show available. One slightly odd move has been the fact that
Series 1 (which used the title All Quiet On The Preston Front)
has been treated separately from its successors - hence Series Two and
Three are referred to as Series One and Two respectively, with the
potential to cause much confusion!
