Preston Front did not feature a specially commissioned theme song. Rather, it made use
of an existing pop record, "Here I Stand" by a Lancashire band called the Milltown Brothers.
The song was released as a single in 1991 where it reached number 41 in the UK charts. It was
originally available on the album "Slinky", although that has now been deleted. However, it is now
available on the "The Best of the Milltown Brothers" and the compilation album
"Drive Time 3" (released by Dino Entertainment).
Preston Front used an instrumental version of the song for the opening credits, with the
full version for the end titles.
